品牌故事
GAGACOCO的前身是2000年三位英国新锐设计师 Gavin, Charlotte , Olivia 在伦敦创立的独立设计师品牌 GACO。GACO 创立之始,主要经营以首饰、太阳镜为主的时尚配饰,并一直以精品化设计、小规模制作的模式运营,饰品风格独树一帜。GACO 一经面市,即在伦敦受到时尚人士的追捧,并深受一些欧美时尚买手和风尚人士的喜爱。
2008年底,随着全球电子商务的蓬勃发展, 华裔商人Robin 作为 GACO 新的战略投资人,联合英国、法国、意大利及美国等一批时尚界精英人士加入GACO团队, 开启了GACO打造平价的大众奢华—全球线上快时尚消费平台的新旅程。秉承为人们创造价位合理、更新快速、品质上乘的配饰的理念,对品牌的设计风格、经营理念、销售渠道进行了全新的市场定位和战略升级,并将原先的 GACO 命名为 GAGACOCO。 除了扩大在伦敦的设计规模外,还在纽约设立了一个新的设计中心,除了保持一贯坚持的英伦风格外,融入了来自纽约的 SOHO 时尚元素,以及Hip-Hop、Pop、Rock & Roll、Jazz等流行音乐的元素,做到经典和时尚的完美融合。
2010年初,GAGACOCO 英国官方网站 www.gagacocoa.co.uk 正式上线,同年九月,作为GAGACOCO 外部扩张的第一个市场,中国www.gagacoco.com 上线运营。此外,计划在2015年前陆续开通美国、法国、意大利及澳大利亚站,在全球建立中国、美国、欧洲三大物流配货中心。
The GAGACOCO story began in 2000, when three innovative designers met in London: Gavin, Charlotte and Olivia.
They formed a fashion collective whose sole mission was to produce unique accessories, in small batches, that real women could afford. They called it GACO, after themselves, and set about tak-ing the London fashion world by storm. It wasn't long before they were taking their creations fur-ther afield to mainland Europe and the US.
As their success grew, they could see that the future of fashion was online. In 2008, they teamed up with Robin to see how they could take GACO to the world.
Remaining true to the values that brought them together, they set about expanding their operation. They built a new website to showcase the combination of classic style and cutting-edge design for which they first became known. With Robin's help, they also set up a design centre in New York, so that they could broaden their range with new creations influenced by the city's chic music scene.
Now they had everything they needed to bring what started in a little studio in London, to a global audience. And so GACO became GAGACOCO.
After two years of preparation gagacoco.co.uk finally went live. Within weeks it quickly developed a strong following. So overwhelming was the international interest, a second website, gagacoco.com (aimed at the burgeoning fashion market in China) was launched. GAGACOCO had arrived.
What's next for GAGACOCO?
As awareness of the brand grows more each day, people from all over the world are clamouring to get their hands on GAGACOCO accessories. We couldn't let those pleas fall on deaf ears. Soon sev-eral more webstores will be opening for business in Italy, France, the US and Australia.
